Subject Line: Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care - $2,300 to $2,500 per week in Columbus, OH Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Columbus, OH Agency: RadGov, Inc Pay: $2300- $2500/week for traveler / Local pay rate :$66 Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Location: Columbus, OH Assignment: 13 Weeks | Night 3x12-Hour Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Pay Package Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,041.60 Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,512.00 Weekly Overtime Pay (Taxable) $0.00 Weekly Gross $2,553.60 Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The RN collaborates with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families to promote optimal health outcomes and ensure patient safety. Key Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Operate and monitor medical equipment Assist physicians during examinations and procedures Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care Maintain accurate and timely patient records Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies Respond effectively to medical emergencies Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients Work Settings Hospitals (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Labor & Delivery, etc.) Clinics and outpatient centers Long-term care facilities Home healthcare Community health organizations Requirements Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Graduation from an accredited nursing program Licensure & Certification Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred for certain units) Experience Previous clinical experience preferred (varies by facility) Specialty certifications may be required for certain departments Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in fast-paced environments Compassion, empathy, and professionalism Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Lift and reposition patients (may require 50 lbs assistance) Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment.
