ICU/Critical Care RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Critical
Care Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid RN
license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Must-Have: - Proficiency with EPIC - IV Start experience -
Telemetry experience - Ventilator management experience
Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night
shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses
will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient
acuity. This includes Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and
Cardiology/Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units
of equivalent or lower acuity. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
are required. Proficiency with the EPIC charting system is
necessary. Experience in IV starting, telemetry, and ventilator
management is essential. Previous travel nursing experience is
strongly preferred. The role requires management of patients with
multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Candidates must have
experience in monitoring various critical care procedures. This
includes coronary artery bypass grafts and external ventricular
drain management. Nurses will be responsible for ensuring infection
prevention and isolation precautions. Candidates should possess
strong patient care skills and be able to handle emergency
situations. Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary
