Job Title: RN Bone Marrow Profession: RN Specialty: Bone Marrow Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, PCU, BMT, or inpatient oncology. License: Valid RN license Certifications: ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo-bio certification, BLS, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) Must-Have: Experience administering chemotherapy, EPIC EMR/charting experience, and 1 year of travel nursing experience. Description: Experienced BMT Nurse needed for a 16-bed unit that cares for patients actively receiving stem cell therapies and participating in clinical trials. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of BMT experience. A certification from ONS or ONCC in chemotherapy or biotherapy is required. Experience with chemotherapy administration is essential. The unit includes both a 16-bed and a 14-bed inpatient BMT/Oncology area. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:3-4. Nurses may be required to float to other equivalent units as needed.
