Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,251 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified SICU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years of recent ICU experience, preferred experience in Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, or Transplant ICU License: Valid Ohio nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with pulmonary artery line monitoring, management of dysrhythmias, and care of ventilated patients. Candidates must be familiar with Epic charting systems. Description: This position requires working nights, including every other weekend. The staffing ratio is 2 patients per nurse during the day and night shifts. Floating to different units may be required as needed. Call duties are included with this position. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates should be knowledgeable in the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and be able to interpret arterial blood gases. Special procedures in this unit include care for trauma, burn, and transplant patients. Common diagnoses include those requiring GI surgery, orthopedic surgery, and various trauma-related conditions. Candidates should possess skills in starting IVs, administering blood products, and managing central lines.
