Job Description Job Title: Physician- PRN Department: Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) Specialty: Internal Medicine/ Family Medicine/ Emergency Medicine Locations: Columbus OH 43215 Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Duration: 6 months Job Summary: Will work PRN going to various DDOD facilities in the Central/ Southern Ohio are to provide services to fill in when a physician is out - but will know in advance what facility will need coverage for planning purposes Responsibilities: • Provide primary care including exams, diagnoses, prescriptions, and documentation. • Plan, coordinate, and direct medical services across facilities. • Collaborate with nursing staff, case managers, and other professionals to address patient needs. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; manage medications and referrals. • Consult with facility committees and external agencies. • Supervise medical staff and support personnel. • Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and emergency preparedness initiatives. Required Qualifications: • OH state Medical License • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine • DEA Certification • BLS certification
