Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Indianapolis,
Indiana, 46260! Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: RN
Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM -
07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License:
Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Ascension Fetal
Monitoring, NRP Advanced Must-Have: Level IV training in Labor &
Delivery Description: Level IV trained Labor & Delivery nurse
needed. The unit consists of a 15 bed labor and delivery area, a 20
bed antepartum unit, and an 8 bed OB triage. Familiarity with
Magnesium and insulin drips is required. Advanced NRP certification
and advanced external fetal monitoring skills are essential.
Adherence to AWHONN guidelines is expected. 1:1 nursing in active
labor and two patients in early or latent labor. Charge nurse
responsibilities in both labor and delivery and high-risk units.
Baby nurse role for deliveries. Commitment to working required; no
tolerance for calling in. Rotating shifts includes every third
weekend and holiday rotation. Two shifts for orientation are
