working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Columbus,
Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Minimum of 2 Years in Cardiac ICU License: Active State License
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience
with Epic, Charge Experience Preferred, Desired Skills Include Care
of Patients on ECMO, IABP, and Ventricular Assist Devices
Description: Weekdays and some weekends are required. Rotating
holidays are expected. Floating within units of equivalent or lower
level of acuity is mandatory. Patient ratios are estimated at
1:1-2. 36 hours per week, rotating or night shifts. Up to 6 weekend
shifts are required per 4-week schedule period. Experience in
cardiac ICU is preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Skills required include IV start, telemetry, ventilation
management, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, PA line management,
and experience with Epic. Previous travel experience is preferred.
Care for patients requiring complex interventions including, but
not limited to, post-cardiac surgery management, transcatheter
aortic valve replacement, and ventilation. Understanding
dysrhythmias and their management is essential. Additional
procedures may include central line management, administration of
emergency medications, and patient monitoring. An interdisciplinary
support system will be available, including respiratory services
and pharmacy. Patient demographics will include adults with
cardiac, vascular, and thoracic diagnoses. This position involves
the management of complex patients with multiple diagnoses
requiring intensive monitoring in an acute care setting. 5 Benefits
