Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,215 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BCLS certifications required Must-Have: - IV start proficiency - Telemetry monitoring experience - Experience with the Epic charting system Description: Schedules include weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. Most likely scheduled for day shifts. Total hours worked is 36 hours per week. On-call duties are required. Patient ratios are typically estimated at 1:3. Candidates must have experience caring for ventilated patients. Following protocols for IV insulin and titration of insulin drips is necessary. Management of dysrhythmias is a critical skill. Experience with pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure is required. Candidates should be proficient in blood product administration and central line management. Knowledge of chest tube care, BiPAP/CPAP management, and oxygen administration is essential. Candidates must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed. The unit specializes in cardiac care and manages a variety of other diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various healthcare professionals.
