SCHEDULE:Full TimeTRAVEL REQUIRED:50% - 75% About Our OpportunityOur Director of Retail Operations is responsible for the overall success of retail operations teams.The Director is in a leadership role advising, coaching and serving as a resourceto lending team members to ensure successfuland efficient lending processes while delivering exceptional customer service.How You Will Spend Your TimeAs a Director over our Retail Operations team, you wil leadand coachretail service team members to effectively support the lending process steps. You will be leadingthree different roles in multiple locations focusing on AgriculturalRetail customers and also supporting the Consumer lending process. You will lead team members to successfuly carry out the following:

• Positive customer experiences
• Credit Administration and Compliance
• Database accuracy and maintenance
• Monitoring and assessing workload volumes and workflow
• Sales Support TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 75% of the time in assigned Marketplace including some travel outside of assigned Marketplace.Minimum Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in agriculture, business or related field preferred; Farm Credit Mid-America experience considered. Five years of experience in financial services environment focused on sales and customer support.Mental & Physical RequirementsThis job requires the incumbent to have the ability to:
  • Engage in telephone and face-to-face conversation to serve customers and give and receive information from staff, vendors, outside consultants and the public.
  • Use a computer and similar office technology and tools. This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information.
  • Speak and make presentations to individuals or groups on technical subjects related to job.
  • Travel via auto or commercial transportation to carry out essential responsibilities of the job.
  • Successfully interact with and represent the organization to staff, officers, board members, customers, vendors, and/or the public at all levels.
  • Provide sound technical advice to leaders and other staff in the subject field(s) related to this position.
  • Understand and explain various subject matter and consulting concepts, programs, terminology, and methods.
  • Reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate, decide, and critique such information as written material, numerical data, responses to customer needs, and/or other related work activities.
