Job Description:

Primary Activities/Duties: -
--- Ensure labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment.
--- Ensure a quality product is assembled and packaged according to customer specifications and standards.
--- Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost.
--- Must be able to perform work content at every station per work instruction and to takt time.
--- Maintain a clean, orderly work environment following 5S principles.
--- Oversee cross training of assembly line workers; keep training matrix up-to-date.
--- Track daily attendance & complete time sheets.
--- Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment through implementation of Rittal Production System (RPS).
--- Interface with quality, engineering, buyer/planner to help resolve any production issues.
--- Interface with internal suppliers (i.e. paint, fab) to resolve production issues.
--- Actively participate in improving assembly operations; develop new ideas or methods to improve efficiency.
--- Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management in creation of a positive workplace culture.Knowledge & Experience: -
--- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Must have prior assembly knowledge. -
--- Must be familiar with basic 5S concepts. -
--- Must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and have a high level of initiative - must be able to work with minimal oversight. -
