Job Description:
Hogan1 is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our
dedicated team, enhancing our reputation for excellence in
logistical solutions. The ideal candidate will be in charge of
transporting goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
This role is vital in sustaining our commitment to time-sensitive
deliveries, critical for our clients across various sectors.
Operating a tractor-trailer or a truck with a capacity of at least
26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Conducting pre-trip and
post-trip inspections to ensure safe performance of the vehicle.
Planning routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and
correlating with dispatch units regularly. Loading and unloading
cargo efficiently, securing the cargo properly while adhering to
safety guidelines. Recording amount and type of cargo being
delivered at checkpoints and destinations. Maintaining logs of
working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following
applicable state and federal regulations. Proficient in operating
large vehicles and understanding vehicle maintenance Strong
navigation skills and knowledge of route planning Excellent time
management to fulfill tight schedules Ability to maintain logs and
records accurately and consistently Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must possess a valid
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A). DOT medical
certification card is needed. Experience with Electronic Logging
Devices (ELD) preferred. Compliance with background check and drug
testing.
