hybrid applications.As the Sr. HR Generalist, you will perform
various human resources duties within the end-to-end, employee life
cycle including, but not limited to, Onboarding, Inclusion and
Diversity, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance and
Policy Management, etc. - The successful candidate is a pro-active,
perceptive, and approachable person who is comfortable supporting
and indirectly leading employees at all levels. Additionally, this
person must be comfortable working in a factory/production
environment. Primary Responsibilities:
Drives proactive people practices and
programs that create and sustain an employee-oriented,
high-performance, inclusive, and engaging, culture, including a
positive employee experience.Partners with assigned departments,
functions, employees, and leaders to ensure business goals and
metrics are on track, and collaboratively works with others to
understand root causes when goals/metrics are off track as well as
developing and implementing solutions to those causes. - Workforce
focus areas will be, but not limited to, safety, quality,
productivity, staffing levels, retention, and behavior/skill
development. -Work extensively with employees and leaders to
identify opportunities to continuously improve performance of
assigned departments, functions, etc. and proactively prevent
common employee relations issues, providing coaching and guidance
to employees and people managers of all levels in dealing with
simple to complex employee, behavior and performance related
matters. Conducts objective, fact-based investigations related to
employee and/or manager concerns, policy infractions, behavioral
and performance related issues, and similar matters. Monitor and
analyze people metrics, identify correlations, insights and trends
that enable the organization to proactively manage people related
key performance indicators, and define strategies for continuous
improvement and management (e.g., sickness, attrition, ER case
management etc.). Leads or shares responsibility on the design,
implementation, and communication of key projects, programs,
initiatives, interventions, or the like that are aimed to improve
and sustain our company's culture and performance.Collaborates and
supports HR team members and peers to deliver upon the overall
success of the team, the HR function, and the business.Maintains
effective and timely documentation, files, notes, and
records.Performs all above mentioned responsibilities with
discretion and professionalism, in compliance with federal, state
and local laws and regulations, as well as company
policies.Performs other duties as assigned and
required.Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree: Focus in Human Resources (HR), Business
Administration or Psychology required
- 5+ years relevant industry experience with progressive
experience in a HR generalist capacity; with applied working
knowledge in multiple HR disciplines (employee relations, inclusion
and diversity, onboarding, performance management, policy
management, legal, and social responsibility, etc.) -
- 3+ years employee relations and experience in a
production/factory setting preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (approachable, empathetic) with
the ability to influence without authority and stand alone in doing
what is right; Strong communication and presentation skills
(verbal, written).
- Ability to work independently, and within a team environment to
support the overall HR function.
- Human Resources certification (PHR, SHRM) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, HRIS systems, SAP.What
