Job DescriptionInfoscitex, a DCS company, is an employee owned

Infoscitex is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support
extensive high visibility Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS)
efforts. As a member of our team, you will support aerospace
technologies research in Dayton, OH, having opportunities to work
in a dynamic environment, with state of the art simulation
technologies, simulation integration experts, and military Subject
Matter Experts (SME). This work focuses on the development of AFSIM
(Analytic Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling)
simulation scripts, plugins and standalone tools for DoD Decision
Support Systems. Essential Job Functions: As a Software Engineering
Intern, you could expect to: Learn programming and DevOps
best-practices from experienced Software Engineers and Analysts.
Collaborate with Software Engineers and Analysts to understand
product requirements and assigned tasking. Collaborate with subject
matter experts such as pilots and technologists, to identify
requirements for system implementation in simulations, plugins and
tools. Learn Machine Learning techniques, application and
performance analysis and apply them to simulation and analysis
tools. Requirements: Due to the sensitivity of customer related
requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. At least partial
completion of a Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science,
Computer Engineering or a related discipline. (We have multiple
levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced
degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative
classification). Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S.
Government background investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information: eligible to
attain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance. A history of strong
academic performance. An interest in modeling, simulation and
machine learning. A strong curiosity and the desire to contribute
to the defense of the United States. Experience developing
object-oriented software using programming languages such as C++,
C# or Java. Excellent written and verbal English communications
skills. Ability to collaborate and perform in a team-based
development environment.An ideal candidate may bring the following
attributes, although these are not firm requirements for
consideration: Active U.S. DOD security clearance. Knowledge and
experience with Modeling & Simulation (M) environments
(constructive and virtual) and/or Modeling, Simulation, and
Analysis (MS) concepts. Familiarity with modern military systems,
