Job Description:
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are at the forefront of

computing platforms and APIs. We are seeking an experienced
Commissioning Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Design
department. This role will focus on the successful commissioning of
complex IT systems within our data centers in the Americas-Central
region, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability of our
services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading
project commissioning efforts from planning through to execution
and evaluation, ensuring compliance with AWS standards, and
effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Develop and
implement commissioning plans for IT infrastructure projects.
Manage and lead commissioning projects from inception to
completion. Ensure all project deliverables align with AWS's
quality standards and business goals. Collaborate with design
engineers, architects, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present detailed project reports and findings to senior
management. Oversee the training of new team members on project
handover. Strong project management skills In-depth knowledge of IT
infrastructure and cloud computing Experience with system
installation, testing, and troubleshooting Ability to lead and
manage multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and
