Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing solutions, is seeking an experienced Data Center Manager for the night shift. This role requires a dynamic leader to oversee operations at one of our critical data centers. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence, handle the management of data center operations and maintenance, uphold security standards, and lead a team of IT professionals and technicians in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Oversee the operational activities of the data center during night shifts. Ensure all data center systems operate within set parameters for maximum uptime. Manage on-site technical staff, scheduling, and work assignment. Implement and maintain strict security protocols and procedures. Conduct regular system and equipment audits and preventive maintenance. Manage incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively. Collaborate with other data center managers and AWS staff for optimal function and efficiency. Strong leadership and team management skills. Expert knowledge of data center infrastructure, networking, and systems management. Proven ability to handle high-stress situations and decision-making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in incident management software and ITSM tools.
