Preferred Qualifications Work in the Kettering Health Network (KHN) Legal Services Department under the direction and supervision of the KHN, Chief Legal Counsel. Provide legal counsel on healthcare operations, general corporate transactions, regulatory and compliance issues, medical staff issues, contracting, and other healthcare-related matters. Provide legal advice to facility administration; participate in the development of system policies and procedures; draft and reviews contracts; and, negotiate and facilitate various transactions. The qualified candidate will have experience on a variety of healthcare-related legal and compliance matters, including corporate governance, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, physician contracting, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, the False Claims Act, HIPAA, and EMTALA. Minimum Education: Juris Doctorate from an accredited university. Minimum Work Experience: Minimum 5 years legal experience.-- *Preferred Healthcare or Non-profit* Required Licenses: License attorney in the state of Ohio. Required Skills: Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and on tight deadlines; must be detail-oriented; must have exceptional legal research, writing and problem-solving skills.
