Job Description Job Description Description: JOB SUMMARY: The
Class B Delivery Truck Driver within our organization is
responsible for the transportation of products, proficiently
operating commercial vehicles and executing safe loading/unloading
procedures at both customer and company sites. In strict adherence
to safety regulations, the Class B Driver consistently upholds
effective communication with management. Reporting directly to the
Transportation Manager/ Supervisor, the Class B Delivery Driver
guarantees the secure and efficient delivery of products. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Represents the company’s core values.

initiator for continuous improvement. ? Overnight stays are
required when needed. ? Product Delivery: Efficiently pick up and
deliver the company's products from plants and warehouses to
distribution centers and grocery stores using refrigerated trucks.
Safely operate commercial vehicles over intercity routes, spanning
multiple states. ? Documentation and Compliance: Ensure complete
and accurate Department of Transportation (DOT) logs, whether
electronic or manual, as required. Maintain company vehicle by
submitting Maintenance Defects reports and reconcile with the
appropriate company representative. Obtain and submit receipts,
bills of lading, and signatures for delivered goods promptly. ?
Loading and Unloading: Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading
positions, ensuring proper vehicle and loading equipment alignment.
Load and unload products by hand, utilizing hand carts and pallet
jacks to prevent damage and ensure load stability. Break down
delivery loads when necessary, maintaining product standards and
safety. ? Route Management: Deliver products within the assigned
route schedule and time windows. Immediately inform the management
team of any deviations from the schedule. ? Safety and Equipment
Operation: Safely operate all assigned equipment, including hand
carts, pallets, load bars, and personal protective equipment.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in compliance with
federal and state regulations and company policies. ? Warehouse and
Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitary working
environment inside and outside the truck. Assist in ensuring
sanitary conditions in warehouses and yards to comply with safety
regulations. ? Returns and Additional Responsibilities: Handle
damaged goods and customer returns, completing necessary paperwork.
Pick up raw materials (boxes and packaging materials) as needed. ?
Training and Communication: Attend training sessions and company
meetings for additional training and to stay updated on Department
of Transportation and other regulations. Obtain authorization for
Lumper services, if needed, from the Transportation Department or
site General Manager. ? Safety Reporting: Report all observed
safety concerns promptly to the Transportation Supervisor. ?
Regulatory Adherence: Adhere to all Department of Transportation
requirements/regulations, protocols for Food Safety, and Soli
Organic' policies and procedures. ? Additional Tasks: Transport
bulk containers (totes) as required. - Perform other duties as
assigned by the Transportation Supervisor or another member of the
management team. ? Other duties as assigned Requirements: REQUIRED
QUALIFICIATIONS: Education: High School or GED diploma or
equivalent. Experience: 1 year of previous truck driving
experience, driving record must meet company requirements and have
a valid medical card. Language Fluency: No specific language
requirements; bi-lingual English/Spanish fluency preferred.
Technology: Be able to navigate on a tablet or hand-held device.
Licensure: CDL Class B license in good standing. Credentials: No
specific professional credentials required. REQUIRED PHYSICAL
ABILITIES: Manual Dexterity: Ability to quickly move your hands and
arms sufficiently to grasp, hold, finely manipulate and assemble
herbs and packaging. Muscle Strength & Flexibility: Ability to
bend, reach, stoop, squat, pivot, turn, balance, walk, push, pull,
and lift and carry up to 50lbs. Trunk Strength: Ability to use your
abdominal and lower back muscles to support a standing position for
sustained periods over time. Withstand Cold: Ability to perform
duties, responsibilities, and assigned tasks with maximum
efficiency while working in a sustained cold work environment.
Sustained Fast Pace: Ability to work at a very fast sustained pace
without reduction in quality, food safety and workplace safety
compliance. Not Allergic: Ability to breathe, touch and work around
fresh herbs and leafy produce safely. COGNITIVE/SENSORY
REQUIREMENTS: Learning: Ability to understand and follow directions
and learn new skills. Near Vision: Ability to see details at close
range (within a few feet of the observer). Speech Recognition:
Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.
Oral Comprehension: Ability to listen to and understand information
and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Oral
Expression: Ability to communicate information and ideas speaking
so others will understand. Problem Sensitivity: Ability to tell
when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not
involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
Emergency Response: Ability to understand, respond quickly, and
move appropriately according to workplace safety protocols and
SOPs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Temperature: Performs work in large
industrial space kept at sustained temperatures between 30 to 55
Degrees Fahrenheit. Noise: Moderate – generally, between 80-90
decibels or below. Fumes, Gases, Dust: Average. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE
EQUIPMENT (PPE) USED: Workplace Safety: Safety toe shoes (composite
or steel toed) Food Safety: Nitrile gloves, hair, and facial hair
hairnets
