Hogan1 is seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. As a pivotal part of our transportation and logistics efforts, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods while upholding our reputation for excellence and efficiency. At Hogan1, our drivers are more than just operators; they are the core ambassadors of our business, driving across regional routes and enhancing our logistic strategies with their expertise. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods, materials, or trailers to specified destinations Conduct inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements Manage routes and routines to optimize efficiency and fuel consumption while adhering to all traffic laws Maintain accurate records of deliveries and driving logs according to state and federal regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations team to ensure smooth transitions and immediate problem resolution Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous goods when necessary Proven skills in driving large vehicles safely and efficiently Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) Ability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Good navigation and ability to use navigation tools effectively Basic mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix minor issues on the road Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Clean driving record Current DOT medical card Familiarity with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
