Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Permanent Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of the
plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and
procedures are followed. The successful candidate will have the key
skills to develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety,
quality, and productivity. This role is a fantastic opportunity to

Responsibilities: 1. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum
day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations. 2.
Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while
minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality
standards. 3. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize
assets to produce optimal results. 4. Implement strategies in
alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of
direction and focus. 5. Monitor operations and trigger corrective
actions. 6. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or
overtime. 7. Commit to plant safety procedures. 8. Develop systems
and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards,
metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on
assets. 9. Stay up to date with latest production management best
practices and concepts. 10. Implement lean manufacturing and six
sigma principles. Qualifications: 1. Proven work experience as a
plant manager or similar role in the manufacturing industry. 2.
Proven managerial experience with at least 5 years in a leadership
role. 3. Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
(budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human
resources). 4. Familiarity with industry standard equipment and
technical expertise. 5. Be knowledgeable of safety, quality,
productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes.
6. Computer literacy with the ability to learn new software
applications. 7. Ability to create accountability and to lead by
example. 8. Strong team building, decision-making and people
management skills. 9. BS degree in Business Management or related
field. 10. Experience in production planning and understanding of
lean manufacturing and six sigma principles. 11. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. 12. Ability to lead and
motivate a high performance team. 13. Strong understanding of core
financial concepts. 14. Ability to work under pressure and meet
deadlines. 15. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking
