Fueled by innovation, talent and ambition, the Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking civilian professionals prepared to deploy war-winning capabilities on behalf of the United States Air Force.AFCS is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Specialists, GS-1601-09, to work for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.--The positon has a typical 2020 salary range of $54,378 - $70,693This position is to receive, process, assign and schedule Base Civil Engineer (BCE) service requests/work tasks within TRIRIGA to ensure the highest priority tasks are accomplished in the appropriate order of precedence with the most appropriate resources and in compliance with applicable higher Headquarters guidance to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of organizations.--To document all work accomplished to ensure accurate record keeping for expenditure of government resources, maintenance histories and trends in maintenance costs, used to project future requirements.--Acts as the primary focal point for BCE service requests/work task coordination, approval, programming and scheduling activities and executes command and control activities during exercises and/or contingencies.Candidates should have a strong background in TRIRIGA.--Requires strong communication skills.--WHO MAY APPLY:------------------All United States CitizensDUTIES:Develops/Maintains the TRIRIGA Scheduling program:--Serves as the in-house Facility Specialist for facility maintenance, Facility Projects (FP) and Facility Operations Facility Projects (FOFP).--Maintains vast knowledge of production control procedures such as cost accounting and production control reporting.--Provides engineers, planners and each systems-specific Sub-AMP Working Group with asset performance data within TRIRIGA that identifies where to focus optimization planning efforts.--Runs statistical reports and performs data analysis on those reports.--Makes recommendations to supervisors and higher-level management regarding any action needed to improve schedule compliance or to correct unfavorable trends.--Produces TRIRIGA/Builder reports to pull critical service requests/work task data and analyzes data to prioritize and sort maintenance and repair work.--Ensures work priorities comply with Air Force direction.--Develops, coordinates all-minor construction, maintenance and repair work tasks using TRIRIGA and develops FP and FOFP accomplished by in-house personnel.--Analyzes multi-shop FP & FOFP requirements and monitors them for efficient completion.--Analyzes information which affects work scheduling, such as priorities, workload, outstanding or backlogged work, inventory, equipment, machinery and supply availability; weather conditions, scheduled plant outages and environmental issues.--Constantly analyzes shops workload and status of work in progress.--Provides shop-level supervisors and managers fully developed work tasks for repair work to effect the efficient use and control of manpower and equipment.--Upon receipt of an approved work requirement, updates and processes the requirement in TRIRIGA based on the approval authority's decision.--Authorized/funded in-house work tasks are reviewed for completeness/feasibility, accuracy, customer justification or suspense and the availability of resources in the shops affected (man-hours, materials, equipment, etc.).--Creates/forwards shop work task packages coordinates with shop supervisors/planners as necessary to obtain man-hour estimates, ensure appropriate justification and supporting documentation is loaded in TRIRIGA and determine the most appropriate routing of work.--Analyzes/Manages Facility Operations Facility Projects (FOFP) & Preventive Maintenance (PM) Processes:--Analyzes/determines if requested work requires an FOFP, and associated work tasks.--Prepares, reviews and analyzes various work proposals, service requests, work tasks, job plans, long and short range plans and schedules to determine optimization efforts in safely accomplishing the project's work.--Depending on type of work requested, assigns proper priority using TRIRIGA.--Ensures work tasks are prioritized correctly and forwards to the correct work centers assigned to accomplish requested work.--In emergency situations, recommends/advises customers of corrective actions to be taken until craftsmen arrive on scene and ensures immediate notification to appropriate work centers.--Briefs and updates work center supervisor and customer on relevant work status information as requested.--Reviews service requests/work tasks/PM programs for the purpose of identifying, locating, prioritizing and/or resolving problems such as redundancies, overlaps in efforts, and repeated need for urgent work.--Performs a variety of tasks related to effective PM such as preparing and analyzing historical maintenance records, backlog reports, maintenance downtime reports, and other administrative matters as required.--Assists as required in the development of the PM Program for all work centers and provides the correct work task number for work centers when needed.--Acts as Subject Matter Expert when overseeing work centers in the development and modification of all TRIRIGA records.Serves as the Facility Manager (FM) Program Manager:--Keep up with ensuring each facility has a Primary and Alternate FM and each FM has a FM assignment letter signed by facility organization commander on file.--Ensure each FM has been trained on the duties/responsibility of FM role.--Approves System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) for new FM's and revalidates requirements annually for 800+ facilities.--Provide each manager with the FM Air Force Instruction and provide answers to any questions that may arise.--Updates the FMs training slides when needed.--Ensures all FMs are added/deleted in the people records within TRIRIGA and computerized database within 30 days of training/out-processing.--REQUIREMENTS:U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED!Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise;
