Prestolite Power designs, manufactures and distributes high quality industrial battery chargers for the motive power industry.Job SummaryThe Service Coordinator will be responsible for processing warranty claims - generally including assistance with dealer updates and inquiries, managing database(s) and weekly/monthly reporting. Specific ResponsibilitiesProcess Warranty Claims - Receive claims, confirm document details, verify if valid, issue credit, document occurrence, provide confirmation of approval or denial. Provide claim details to both management and accounting routinely. Notify and work with Dealers related to any discrepancies on warranty claimsProcess & Manage Warranty Parts Purchase Orders- Confirm required part/s, enter & process orders, document & file order for future reference. Manage open & in-process no charge warranty parts orders.Manage Dealer Network Warranty Inquiries- Answer verbally or by email questions related to qualification and/or standards. General questions about warranty details.Manage Warranty Exception Log and Files- Entering and maintaining active log/database for all non-standard warranty occurrences. This includes customer, product type, serial numbers, time period.Zoho Warranty Log Database Management- Entering into database all warranty claim details such as charger information, defective parts, repair details, travel & labor time as claims are processed. Update Dealer & End User fields in database preventing lost data when searching records. Assist in forming data for warranty studies.Warranty Activity Reporting - Responsible for Weekly, Monthly and Year-to-Date reporting. Multiple warranty reports are accumulated and generated. These include reports breaking out US, non-US, product lines, unique product lines and specialty items as needed. Log/Report all incoming warranty expenses providing $$ exposure. Log/Report provided to Department and Division Manager for forecasting.Dealer Account Resolution/Clarification- Work with Dealers to verify current warranty status versus Dealer statements. Correcting improper billing $$, invalid claims or invoices already paid. Customs Assistance- Provide manufacturing affidavits for Dealers returning parts outside of the US.Holder of Master Price List Information- Will make updates, adding information such as new items or pricing. Will update record and manage new revision identification.Customer Support Activity- Assist Dealers with part number information, pricing information or general questions related to warranty & technical support.Job Requirements:Position Requirements:Qualifications--- Must possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)--- Must possess excellent record-keeping and documentation skills--- Capable of handle customer complaints and issues, while maintaining accurate account records.--- Strong multi-tasking abilities--- Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Data Tracking. Oracle, ZoHo & ZenDesk familiarity a plus. Experience2-years of experience in a Customer Service roleEducation2-year Associated Business Degrees or equivalent work experiencePhysical RequirementsSedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
