We continue to provide innovative solutions with our multidisciplinary teams formed with exceptional employees. Infoscitex is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team. As this Technical Writer, you will perform a variety of writing and editing duties to develop, research, and finalize materials in the preparation of documentation, manuals, papers, and briefings on Air Force weapon systems.Essential Job Functions:Record, track, and publish, as required, official program documents, reports, action items, decisions, and minutes for assigned meetings and events.Conduct detailed, full edits of technical documents and presentations for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, format, etc.Create, modify, and work from document templates.Serve as a Microsoft Word expert able to answer staff questions.Assist staff members with documentation and modeling of processes.Assist team members with version control.Requirements:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.At least an Associate's degree with at least 10 years of related experience exhibiting a high level of familiarity with Microsoft Word.--(We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification). Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information:--active Secret clearance, and be eligible for TS/SCI.Experience researching and providing technical writing support to data scientists, engineers, and computer professionals.Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, or other editing software.Experience with Confluence / JIRA / VDL desired.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Ability to understand technical concepts, principles, and techniques. Able to write clearly and concisely for a technical audience.Teachable, positive attitude, highly motivated, and team-oriented.Ability to perform, manage, and prioritize multiple related tasks in a time-sensitive environment.Demonstrated ability to react effectively to time critical situations to achieve project success.Excellent communicator with ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations on plans, current status, technical issues, and results.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Understanding of Air Force Program office / Acquisition / Weapons Systems experience desired.
