POSITION DESCRIPTION /Tangram Flex is seeking a Systems Engineer with 2-10+ years of systems engineering and/or computer science experience to support Air Force modeling and simulation efforts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/Systems Engineers are required to develop and maintain the technical infrastructure of the system.-- This includes defining system requirements, providing expertise in system integration, risk management, and security. The Systems Engineer must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external teams.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain an expert level of program knowledge and application for Air Force modeling and simulation systems.
• Assist in the articulation of program requirements, costs, schedules, features, and capabilities for Air Force modeling and simulation systems.
• Assist in the development and execution of complex acquisition systems.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and aid in preparing the technical documentation to solicit for those requirements.
  Additional:
  • Assist the customer in the overall strategy as it relates to the program
  • Assist in resolving issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
  • Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
  • Help identify customer needs and opportunities to drive future program capabilities.
    --DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE /Required:
    
    • BA/BS in Engineering, technical field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role.
    • 2+ years of formal experience in systems engineering roles working collaboratively on a team.
    • Experience supporting DoD acquisitions programs and acquisition official---s program management goals.
    • Experience composing technology and architectural documentation.
    • A solid understanding of software, modeling and simulation, and network communications technology.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Possess the ability to obtain a security clearance.
      Preferred:
      • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
      • Experience standing up new modeling and simulation acquisition programs.--
      • Interested in DoD Open Architectures.
      • Proven technology program delivery experience.
      • Experience with modeling and simulation systems and integration.
      • Experience with DoD and Air Force Modeling and Simulation Systems.
