    How You'll Make an Impact
    Aptima currently has an opening for Desktop Support Specialist in the Woburn, MA office. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will work closely on a small, collaborative team to support employees who are making strides in human centered engineering. As a member of the Information Systems team, our direct impact ensures our employees can continue to develop innovative technology effectively.
    The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, a drive for success and will effectively support members of the organization in IT-related issues including help desk support, new computer builds, and installing and maintaining hardware and software updates. Other responsibilities include, inventory auditing, mobile and tablet setup, scheduling computer replacements and update deployment images. This position provides primary level support for all technology issues along with being a primary contact for AV/conference support.
    You'll Need

    • Experience with PC, Windows/MAC operating systems to provide technical support.
    • Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Intune and Office 365
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Good organization, time management and prioritization
    • Efficient troubleshooting abilities
    • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
    • Great customer service and interpersonal skills

      Minimum Requirements

      • U.S. Citizenship required or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
      • A candidate with a degree or who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a computer-related field or with demonstrated experience administering Information Systems.
      • 1+ year experience in IT/IS.

        • The satisfactory performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position require regular and consistent physical in-office presence. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing or authorized under policies of the Company, the employee must report each working day to one of Aptima's places of business to conduct their employment activities. All use of leave time and Aptima's work-at-home policy shall be reasonable and within the intended scope of the policy.
        • All commutes to an employee's assigned Aptima place of business will be made without expectation of travel per diem.
        • Business travel may be required to locations including but not limited to conferences, other office locations, and/or military sites.
