How You'll Make an Impact
Aptima currently has an opening for Desktop Support Specialist in
the Woburn, MA office. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will
work closely on a small, collaborative team to support employees
who are making strides in human centered engineering. As a member
of the Information Systems team, our direct impact ensures our
employees can continue to develop innovative technology
The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, a drive for
success and will effectively support members of the organization in
IT-related issues including help desk support, new computer builds,
and installing and maintaining hardware and software updates. Other
responsibilities include, inventory auditing, mobile and tablet
setup, scheduling computer replacements and update deployment
images. This position provides primary level support for all
technology issues along with being a primary contact for
- Experience with PC, Windows/MAC operating systems to provide
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Intune and Office
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Good organization, time management and prioritization
- Efficient troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and

- U.S. Citizenship required or the ability to obtain a U.S.
- A candidate with a degree or who is currently enrolled in an
undergraduate program in a computer-related field or with
demonstrated experience administering Information Systems.
- 1+ year experience in IT/IS.
