Job Description:
TSBIRT Provider
The TSBIRT (Trauma Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to
Treatment) provider conducts anxiety, depression, substance use,
and tobacco screenings and brief interventions with adults in a
community setting, including churches and other agencies filling
social service needs in the community. Services may be delivered by
phone, face to face at the office, in a person's home, at outside
agencies, and/or within the community. This position maintains an
ongoing working knowledge of agencies and community/emergency
resources for children, adolescents, and adults. The TSBIRT
provider uses that knowledge to coordinate services and advocate
for identified people. This is a grant funded position with a start
and end date.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion /
GED
Additional requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration
* Registered Applicant and Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist
Assistant within 3 years of hire
* AHA BLS Certified within 6 months of hire
* Valid Ohio Driver's License and dependable private vehicle
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related
experience
Preferred experience: 1-3 years' experience directly related to the
education/prevention field.
