Washington Township, formerly Southview Medical Center, has served
the South Dayton, Ohio suburbs including Centerville, Kettering,
West Carrollton, Moraine, Miamisburg, Springboro, Bellbrook, and
Waynesville for over 40 years.KH Washington Township is a 123
licensed-bed hospital and medical campus that is conveniently
located off I-675.Our full-servicehospitalincludesmaternity care,
emergency services,hand trauma center, and specialty
serviceslocated within theadjacent medical offices.In 2020, KH
Washington Township received an "A" from the Leapfrog Group, a
national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest

Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.Plans and directs
hospital wide mission integration strategy ensuring that best
practices are present in each facet of the following areas; In
patient care, Staff engagements, Chaplains, Physician Engagement,
Communities of faith outreach, Creation Health. Faithful work in
these areas will place KH hospitals at the fore of quality and
mission vibrancy and ensure that KH corporate accountabilities are
met each year. Promotes and encourages the spiritual atmosphere of
the hospital. Presents worships, attends staff meetings on unit(s)
as necessary, and regularly meets with managers. Evaluates and
communicates effectively to customs of varying religions/cultures,
psycho-social needs or ages. Mentor the clinical pastoral education
students.Minimum EducationMaster of Divinity degree or
equivalentMinimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral
EducationPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Congregational pastoral
experienceFour-units or residency in Clinical Pastoral
EducationRequired LicensesOrdination/licensure as minister in good
standing with the SDA ChurchEndorsement through Adventist
Chaplaincy Ministries of the General Conf. of SDABoard
Certification with the Association of Professional
ChaplainsCertificate in Critical Incident Stress ManagementThree or
more years of Chaplain experience4 units of Clinical Pastoral
Education and church endorsement requiredAvailable for overnight
and/or weekend on-duty coverage as assigned.
