JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Specialist works in a team environment to
design, develop, and implement digital marketing content. This role
will facilitate development strategies on behalf of Vandor by
contributing to and leading marketing initiatives. This role is
responsible for ensuring that products and services are
successfully marketed and can be supported by Sales and Customer
Service. This role will work cross-functionally with Management,
Product Design, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Finance and
Pricing, and Production within the organization. This role supports
sales growth and enhances the customer experience by developing
content primarily in the form of social media campaigns, creation
and execution of SEO strategies, email communications and print
materials. This role is focused heavily on marketing of paper and
wood products. This position reports directly to the Director of
Research & Development and Marketing and is based in Richmond,
Indiana.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to ensure positive customer experiences.
Creates and executes digital marketing campaigns.
Researches advertising trends.
Researches competitor pricing and products.
Maintains and updates CRM data.
Improves website user experience to help achieve sales goals.
Manages timelines for campaign implementation.
Coordinates with marketing and product design team.
Assists in creation of print marketing materials such as industry
publications and catalogs.
Responsible for SEO and Google Analytics monitoring, reporting, and
measuring.
Understands and manages non-disclosure agreements.
Participates in product evaluation and market opportunities.
Actively participates in weekly production and marketing
meetings.
Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly
work areas.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

nomenclature, descriptions, units of measure and other details used
in marketing content in order to ensure consistency and
preservation of the integrity of the data.
Ability to retain and recall information, including product
knowledge, in order to work efficiently.
Must possess exceptional planning and organizational skills
including the prioritization and planning of work activities in
order to use time efficiently and plan for additional resources
when needed.
Must have the ability to perform mathematic equations quickly and
accurately.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality including the start
of the day, meetings and appointments and also ensuring work
responsibilities are covered when absent.
Must be dependable including, but not limited to following
instructions, responding to management direction, taking
responsibility for own actions, keeping commitments, committing to
completing work in a timely manner to reach goals, completing tasks
on time, and notifying appropriate person if an alternate plan is
deemed necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory
responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with additional
relevant formal education, certification, or equivalent experience
is required. Experience with (or the ability to quickly learn and
utilize) the Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative software,
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CRM, and an ERP system is
preferred.
RELOCATION and TRAVEL:
Relocation is negotiable. Occasional travel to industry trade shows
and educational seminars are a possibility.
