Red Arch Solutions is looking for a motivated Chief Engineer to join us working on a contract for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). This position would work in collaboration with researchers to develop, sustain, and utilize tools for military intelligence, including measurement and signatures intelligence (MASINT) and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT). Successful candidates will perform software sustainment & development tasks and must be able to work in a collaborative environment with the customer and other teammates to define requirements and manage projects.Work location will primarily be on-site at the NASIC facilities. Experience with using and developing methods for exploitation of signals/imagery is a plus. -Evaluate, recommend, develop, document, and deliver capabilities for the implementation of the OPIR Platform including the tasks listed below: + Evaluate existing capabilities for networking and security in the OPIR Platform; security components shall be designed to function on premise and in the cloud + Evaluate existing capabilities for enterprise patterns across the OPIR Platform and recommend design solutions + Investigate performance bottlenecks and stability issues within the OPIR Platform and provide courses of action (COA) and designs that address and resolve performance bottlenecks and stability issues. + Update the Platform to support Algorithm storage and processing in support of web-based tools + Develop Argo Workflows functionality within Kubernetes. + Evaluate and develop distributed platform functionality to support OPIR Platform running in multiple environments simultaneously. - - Applications and Tools desired: AWS, Unified logging, Security with JavaScript Web Token (JWT), API Gateways, ElasticSearch, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), GeoServer feature-level security, Alerting and Monitoring, and Kubernetes. Qualifications: At a minimum, Master's degree in engineering, science, or mathematics with 15 years engineering experience. Applications and Tools desired: Possesses Package Software Expertise in SSIS ETL and reporting tools and algorithm development experience in PERL and PL/SQL.
