Bill of Materials- Work Preparations
SpecialistResponsibilities:
Interface between Deal Desk,
Engineering & Operations
Work with Engineering and Deal Desk
to create complete and accurate spec.Review quote and customer
drawings for accuracy.View configuration for long lead time
finished goods material Verify order texts /drawings respective to
quote and sales order Verify that factory selection is correct
(MODUS vs standard factory)Creation of BOM & Article TextsAssist in
creating deviations and with clarifications to operations
team.Solve challenges with sales orders due to material and
technical constraintsApply technical product, Bill of Material, and
Manufacturing Process knowledge in order to communicate customer
order requirements to all departments through SAPAssist the line
with any questions or problems with jobs in production.Set up
material masters for new parts in SAP as required.Research customer
communications as -needed to determine root cause and corrective
action.Create and revise design engineering standards
documentation.Verify assembly work center and estimate router time
for assembly.Qualifications:
Adapt to assignment changes easily,
ability to multi-task, knowledge in SAP & Microsoft Office a
plus.Detail oriented; communicate effectively via oral and written
with employees, customers, and vendors.Problem solving, seek
answers for new requirements.Able to work with minimal
supervision.Understand and interrupt Bill of Materials.Experience
in Engineering or related field a plusKnowledge of Rittal product
line components preferred.Advanced blueprint training provided. -If
