Job Description:

The MBSE Systems Engineer will require strong software design and development skills and a full understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle. The MBSE Systems Engineer will also be required to have a solid understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and expertise with MBSE tools.

Job Duties

• 
  
• 
  Utilize MBSE to define requirements, functions, design, and IV&T - including scenarios, use cases, and test cases.
  
  
• 
  Create Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts to include: operations views (OV), systems views (SV), capability views (CV), data views (DV) using system modeling language (SysML)
  
  
• 
  Work with development teams to accomplish the implementation of the design
  
  
  Required Skills
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, math or information technology related technical fields with at least 5 years' experience in a mix of systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management
    
    
  • 
    US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
    
    
  • 
    Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills
    
    
  • 
    May be required to perform activities within a classified facility and adhere to security requirements for access to classified information.
    
    
    Required Experience
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Experience with system modeling language, model-based systems engineering, and requirements documentation
      
      
    • 
      Experience with using tools such as NoMagic Cameo Systems Modeler or IBM tool suite to do MBSE modeling.
      
      
    • 
      Experience with executable SysML simulation capabilities and scripting languages.
      
      
    • 
      Experience with MBSE methodologies and interfacing with Agile development methods.
      
      
      Desired Qualifications
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Masters' degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, math or information technology related technical fields with at least 5 years' experience in a mix of systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management in support of the IC or DoD
        
        
      • 
        Experience engineering / implementing operational prototypes is highly desired
        
        
      • 
        Cloud Computing expertise
        
        
      • 
        Experience working with Software Developers, System Architects and System Engineers
        
        
      • 
        Experience in OPIR data processing a plus
        
        
      • 
        Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication is a plus
