Industrial Security Professional I - Activity

To provide Program Security functions and assure all applicable program, federal, and company requirements, regulations, and policies are being followed.

What You'll Do:

• Be a part of a security team responsible for supporting Program Managers. You will provide guidance related to Air Force and DoD security policy to ensure a good working relationship between the security and mission requirements.
• Conduct access briefings for cleared personnel to ensure programs are correctly administered and protected. Assist program management staff by receiving, reviewing, processing, and filing program submittal packages.
• Administer security guidelines; work with technical and physical specialists, facilities engineers, and program managers to establish required physical security requirements.
• Provide ongoing security support for activities which may be related to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) security programs for the Air Force and DoD agencies.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Fixed Facility Checklists for appointed government and contractor secure areas.
• Address daily security tasks. (e.g., changing combinations, instructions for guards, courier/destruction activities, arranging support/security for moves, etc.).
• May prepare and present basic security briefings.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary. What You'll Need:
  • BS/BA in a related field.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • A degree, or work towards a degree in Security Management, or An Associate Degree in Security Administration is highly desired.
  • Possess the ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers and contribute to a cooperative work environment and successful mission accomplishment.
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and/or Physical Security Certification (PSC).
    Any additional CDSE certifications or equivalent are desired. Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

      Compensation & Benefits:
      • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $63,000 - $84,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
