Job Description:
$22-$26/hr. Full-time FLSA: Non-exempt Summary of Job: The
Clinician I/Clinical Therapist develops a recovery service plan and
uses recovery-oriented, therapeutic counseling to engage
individuals in their individual recovery journey. The Clinician
I/Clinical Therapist also orients individuals to the program by
collaborating and assessing needs, identifying challenges and
facilitating the development of goals in the treatment and recovery
process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Serves as the
mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled
in services at another community agency, when applicable.
*Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of
medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a
timely fashion. *Conducts thorough clinical assessments and
treatment plans for services. *Assesses the individual's needs and
provides appropriate support and referral. *Provides short-and
long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education,
on a group or individual basis. *Provides family education and
family counseling. *Completes clinical documentation as required.
*Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards
as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest
Policies. *Performs other related duties as assigned. Job

*State professional certification, where applicable. *Basic
computer skills. *Ability to pay close attention to detail.
*Ability to problem solve. *Ability to communicate both verbally
and in writing. *Effective listening skills. *Excellent
documentation skills. *Associate's Degree in Human Services or
related field from an accredited school, Bachelor's Degree
preferred. *Two (2) years' experience providing psychosocial/mental
health services and/or crisis intervention services in a behavioral
health setting. Driving Requirements: *If driving is required for
this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI
International driving policy. *If not qualified to drive per
driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed. A
Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of
the new hire onboarding process. Physical Demands: May include work
close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands,
and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling,
finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected
vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to
lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an
office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact
with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Employment Type:
