We are currently searching for 1st and 2nd shift Production Associates for Assembly for our New Bremen, OH location. 1st shift runs 5am to 1pm Monday thru Friday and 2nd shift runs 1pm to 11pm Monday thru Thursday. If you have experience or the desire to learn, we want to talk to you! We offer a competitive hourly shift premium, in addition to competitive hourly wage. Salary is based on specific industry and machine knowledge and experience.

As an Assemblerfor Opus Packaging you can expect to produce corrugated or chip packaging products for our customers in coherence with promoting the corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.

Duties and Responsibilities:.

• Monitor box quality to the documented ISO standards..
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs. What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
  • Work safely. It'd be great if you also have:
    • Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Ability to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and other tools as required by specific jobs. During a normal workday you can expect to:
      • Bend, reach, stoop, squat and stand for 8 hours.
      • Have good hand - eye coordination.
      • Occasional lifting of 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds.
      • Understand machine set-up, machine runs, plant data entry, handwork, or assembly assignments. Salary/Benefits:
