*SIGN-ON BONUS eligible up to $5,000 -Oasis Systems has an
exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer located at
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Within the
AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), the
Air Force Product Lifecycle Management Program (AF-PLM) enables the
Digital Enterprise by creating the linkages and synchronization
needed between derived technical data types throughout the
lifecycle as well as enabling other external tools and processes
requiring data across the logistics and engineering communities. -
It addresses the core of AFMC, the product data of its systems by
providing an enterprise capability that integrates lifecycle
management processes through the creation, access, management and
control of product data. It is a key enabler for Weapon System
Program Offices, AF Digital Enterprise (SAF/AQR), and Log-IT
(AF/A4P). -LOCATION: Wright-Patterson AFB (Dayton, OH)JOB STATUS:

(Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills) Possesses the
advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be
considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess
the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and
mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional
discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and
ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in
their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff
Level Support interface)
- Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter - Highly Desirable
- Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure Technology and Amazon Web
Services (AWS)
- Experience administering one or more RDBMS, such as MS SQL
Server or Oracle
- Experience with TCP/IP networking
- Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization
technologies, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS Cloud delivery models
- Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load
balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.)
- Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and
communications technologies
- Highly proficient with computers and software applications to
include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook, etc.), expert attention-to-detail & highly organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- At least 3 years' experience with:
System Administration of a UNIX,
Linux, and MS Windows server environmentVirtualization,
containerization, or cloud, such as: Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Google
GCP, VMware, Virtual Box, Xen, Hyper-V, or CitrixScripting or
programming, such as: Linux shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, VB,
C++, C#, Java, PowerShell, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.Enterprise-level
business system administration, management, or engineering
-SECURITY CLEARANCE: -Secret (Required)and U.S. Citizenship is
required for all applicants -EDUCATION: -Minimum Recommended
Education and Experience:
- Advanced Degree (MA/MS) in Computer Science, Information
Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 12 years of
experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
other Engineering Discipline and 15 years of experience in the
respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of
which must be in the DoD, or
- 20 years of directly related experience with proper
certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD. -CERTIFICATIONS: -
- DoD 8570 Certification at the IAT II level - Required
- Certified SCRUM Master - Desired -EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Level III
(Senior) - -RESPONSIBILITIES: -The contractor shall advise and
support work that involves the planning, analysis, design,
development, testing, quality assurance, configuration,
installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or
management of networked systems used for the transmission of
information in voice, data, and/or video formats. Functions
required to be performed by individuals in this specialty may
include:
- Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading applications
and infrastructure components; and/or ensuring the rigorous
application of information security/ cybersecurity policies,
principles, and practices in the delivery of network services
- Acts as the AF PLM CSO subject-matter expert concerning the AF
CCE and cloud infrastructure
- Maintains current knowledge of cloud
computing technologies, trends, services and popular third-party
toolsDesigns system implementations, upgrades, and updates for the
cloud services and infrastructure supporting the AF PLM system.
This design work may include logical design, I/O design, and cloud
architecture analysis and designEnsures security is integrated into
all AF PLM technical solutionsDevelops business case analysis on
potential projects
- Maintains the AF PLM System cloud infrastructure
- Install, configure, test, and maintain
the AF PLM System using AF CCE cloud services and management
toolsetWrite, maintain, and document custom scripts to deploy the
PLM system, increase system efficiency, and lower the human
intervention time on every feasible taskMonitor and test system
performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions,
and work with other team members to implement those fixesMaintain
security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- AF PLM CSO cloud technology representative to outside
organizations
- Consult with clients to proactively
ensure AF PLM system and infrastructure availability
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem
