-Job Summary: The STEM After School Enrichment Coordinator serves
as the supervisor and program administrator for after school STEM
enrichment opportunities for students. - The coordinator will
launch and supervise after school STEM activities such as Science
Olympiad and Lego Robotics for multiple schools, including student
recruitment, transportation to and from programs and competitions,
and coordinating with supervising staff members to carry out
enriching STEM experiences for DECA students. - -Qualifications:
Valid -Ohio Educational Aide/Student
Monitor Permit; Teaching license preferred; prior relevant
experience preferred;Effective interpersonal skills with children
and adults;A broad range of interests and experience with a passion
for learning;Basic knowledge in STEM fields;Knowledge of
pedagogical theories, perspectives, and developments;Sound
classroom management skills;Strong project management and
organizational skills;Ability to improvise and work through
uncertainties;Experience with technology-integration in the
teaching and learning process;Effectiveness in an
interdisciplinary, teamed environment;Skills in graphic technology
preferred;Collegiality and an eagerness to participate in
student-centered school activities are essential;Ability to define
problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions;Entrepreneurial spirit;Leadership skills;Excellent
problem-solving skillsDuties/Essential Functions:
Coordinate the development and launch
of at least two STEM enrichment programs;Facilitate after school
STEM enrichment programs as necessary;Maintain all required
paperwork related to after school STEM enrichment programs;Recruit
student participation in after school STEM enrichment
programs;Supervise the administration of after school STEM
enrichment programs;Report each student's progress and attendance
through communication with parents;Periodically transport students
complying with traffic ordinances and school transportation policy;
-Serve as positive role model for students;Develop meaningful,
appropriate relationships with each student and his/her
parent/guardian;Celebrate student accomplishments;Advocate for, and
on behalf of, students and families;Attend faculty meetings and
other staff development and planning sessions as determined by the
principal and school staff;Work with school team on academic
intervention strategies for students;Provide supplemental and
educational activities in order to support student growth;Performs
other duties as assigned by the principal; andStrives to
continually improve professional competence.Terms of Employment:
260 days-25 hours per week (2PM-7PM
daily)Salary to be determined based on experience and education
-level.All staff members are issued one-year contracts.

necessary/appropriate.Physical demands:
While performing the duties of
his/her job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk,

employee must occasionally lift and/or -move up to 50
pounds.Specific vision abilities required for this position include

environment is quiet to loud depending on the activity and
