CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALISTADDICITON SERVICES - SBHI/ ONEFIFTEENFull Time Shifts Available!Facility: Samaritan Behavioral Health, IncSamaritan Behavioral Health, Inc. and OneFifteen Health are partnering to provide care on the OneFifteen campus - https://onefifteen.org/ - a state-of-the-art tech-enabled treatment program, dedicated to the full and sustained recovery of people suffering from opioid addiction and other behavioral health disorders.The Certified Peer Support Specialist is responsible for providing information and referral services to substance addicted clients needing access to community resources.The Peer Support Specialist is an active member of the team and provides peer recovery support services to individuals with substance use disorders.The Certified Peer Support Specialist:Functions as a role model to peers.Exhibits competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills.Serves as an advocate, provide information about peer support in outpatient settings.Assists clients in regaining independence within the community and ownership over their own recovery process.Provides services in the community including other agencies, correction sites, and in the home.Job Qualifications & Experience Required:High School diploma or equivalentMust have an active driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleMust be a person with a lived experience of substance use disorder or co-occurring mental health & substance use disorder.Must satisfy relevant state requirements for Certified Peer Recovery Supporter including: being registered through OMHAS as a Certified Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter.Certified in CPR
