Job Description:

A company is looking for a Washington State Licensed School Counselor for a contract position in a school district, allowing work from home.
Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual counseling sessions with students individually or in groups to address personal, academic, and career-related concerns
Provide guidance to students in developing and achieving academic goals, course selection, and career planning
Assess and address students' social and emotional needs, including stress management, conflict resolution, and coping skills

Qualifications:

Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
Valid state licensure or certification as a school counselor (if applicable)
Proven experience as a school counselor, preferably in a virtual or online education setting
Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and counseling techniques
Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms, technology tools, and online learning management systems
