Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of supply chain
strategy to support corporate goals including; Sales and Operations
Planning (S&OP), Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Vendor
Management, Materials Management, Logistics
- Lead the development and implementation of monthly S&OP
consensus, supply, and planning meetings (with manufacturing, as
well as business and Supply Chain management) with the
responsibility to reach consensus on the 12-month
Supply/Demand/Inventory plan consistent with business
strategy.
- Facilitate and advocate the S&OP process with the assigned
manufacturing sites, supply chain and commercial support
functions.
- Provide strategic analysis, information and recommendations to
optimize inventory investment while enabling business objectives,
including 'what-if' scenarios for varying options.
- Provides strategic leadership that drives sustainable process
improvements, with a focus on delivering automation capabilities,
expansion of distribution capabilities and services, and
operational efficiencies
- Development of short and long-range strategies for S&OP,
distribution and inbound/outbound logistics to elevate customer
experience and service levels, support business growth, and drive
profitability
- Oversee the supply chain budget and operating performance,
along with key service, quality and cost metrics and focus on
continuous improvement programs
- Provide strategic cross-functional collaboration and optimize
all interdependencies with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing,
Operations, Quality, Safety, Procurement to ensure team alignment
and execute strategic planning initiatives
- Leads senior management routines to monitor core supply chain
performance, including delivering against product and service level
agreements, inventory investment and cost objectives
- Communicates and implements key performance indicators (KPIs)
and metrics to measure and evaluate the end-to-end strategic supply
chain operations. Identifies opportunities, models desired outcomes
and effectively manages performance of operational methods
- Provides leadership that delivers supply chain and operational
efficiencies, improved financial performance creating enterprise
value across the organization; lead, coach and develop a Supply
Chain team through clear goal setting, feedback and
coachingPosition Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or
related field required; MBA preferred
- Certification in Operations Management, Inventory Management or
Continuous Improvement (CI) highly desirable
- Ten (10) or more years' experience in Supply Chain and
Logistics required
- Have extensive experience in S&OP, supply/demand planning,
purchasing, logistics and customer service functions
- Have a proven track record of developing end to end strategies
to improve supply chain efficiencies and effectiveness. Experience
driving continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the supply
chain function.
- Have superior time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrate ability to prioritize and organize tasks and
projects.
- Have strong analytical and decision-making skills with the
ability to effectively identify, analyze, and recommend solutions
