to do:---Responsible for sudden chemical equipment failure
maintenance and preventative equipment maintenance to ensure that
production equipment continues to run smoothly, building systems
operate efficiently and the physical condition of the buildings do
not deteriorate.---Diagnose and test the performance of electrical
components and spare parts and make recommendations for
improvement.---Responsible for mechanical maintenance of production
equipment, perform issue analysis and resolve according to work
orders/maintenance request (equipment includes but is not limited
to: chemical reactor, chiller units, vacuum pumps, air handling
unit, and air compressors).---Seek opportunities for process and
mechanical improvement and take responsibility for collaborating
with others to implement approved changes.---Support the work order
system as directed.---Inspect, operate, or test machinery or
equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Diagnose mechanical
problems and determine how to correct issues, checking blueprints,
repair manuals, or parts catalogs. Repair or replace defective
equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble
equipment. ---Order as well as maintain inventory and organization
of parts.---Participate in On Call program and work overtime as
needed to cover off shift and weekends.FOR OPEN MINDS.We are
looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to
bring fresh thinking, energy and a creative perspective to their
work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate
would possess include:---A minimum of a High School Diploma or
equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in a role supporting a
manufacturing environment is required. ---Experience in a chemical,
pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment is preferred with
a minimum of 3 years of progressive industrial maintenance
experience. ---A diploma from a technical or trade school is
preferred. We will consider applicants with technical certification
without industrial experience. ---Must have experience with two or
more of the following trades: mechanical, electrical, and controls.
Must be able to understand contracts and systems manuals as well as
be able to read blueprints. Interpersonal skills and the ability to
communicate in a professional manner are required. ---Teamwork
skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to troubleshoot
and solve problems are required. ---Ability to obtain a forklift
license upon being hired. ---Must have prior experience
