SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all
maintenance and repairs. Throughout the site including facilities.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual

responsibilities require the following:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: One-year certificate from a college or
technical school; or minimum twelve months related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Pass the Fork Truck and Scissor Lift Training certification
course.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read in English and interpret documents
such as safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine
reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute percentages, as well as draw and
interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram
form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete
variables in standardized situations. Ability to problem solve and
develop short-term and long-term solutions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Employee must be able to operate the fork truck in a safe and
expeditious manner so that there are no delays in the manufacturing
or in the shipping operations. Employee must be able to safely and
efficiently operate the lift at its maximum lift height
(approximately 180").
