If you are a TECHNICIAN professional looking for an opportunity

SIDNEY, OHIO location, you will provide detailed testing support
for our Technical Services Laboratories.In this role, you will
perform non-routine and complex assignments, involving the
responsibility for planning, conducting, and completing diverse
projects of relatively limited scope. You will work closely with
project engineers and team members to develop scenarios,
techniques, and guidelines for testing HVAC/R systems and system
components. You will assist and train new technicians, as needed.
In addition, you will effectively communicate the status of project
assignments to co-workers, management, and engineers, and use good
judgment to manage risk and solve problems.AS AN HVAC/R SYSTEMS /
FIELD TEST TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:
- Install and set-up heat pumps, air conditioning, and
refrigeration systems and components.
- Check instrumentation of HVAC/R systems and system
components.
- Use data acquisition equipment for calibration, set-up, and
installation.
- Use data acquisition software and programming.
- Run prescribed laboratory tests.
- Design and fabricate special test fixtures.
- Travel to customer locations to provide service and support for
engineering needs.
- Work in a team environment.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.

- ExternalREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Two (2) year technical or associate's degree plus three (3)
years of experience in the HVAC/R industry, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Proven HVAC/R systems and systems control knowledge
- Ability to perform troubleshooting of test equipment and HVAC/R
systems and components
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, both schematic and
ladder
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing test compressor and
HVAC/R system installations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship
will not be provided for this role.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,
& SKILLS:
- Associate's degree in HVAC/R or Electronics plus five (5) years
of relevant experience in the HVAC/R field or similar lab setting
with experience in testing HVAC/R systems and components
- Experience with data acquisition equipment and demonstrated
ability to utilize PC equipment for data acquisition purposes
- Experience with Yokogawa data acquisition hardware and
software
- Ability to design and fabricate special HVAC/R test set-ups and
fixtures
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Experience with variable speed drives
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365
