Job Description:
Title:Engineering TechnicianKBR is seeking a recent engineering
technology graduate, motivated to learn new skills, and become an
integral part of our project team. This individual will work with
other engineers and technicians to support ongoing technical
projects focusing on assembly of robotic eddy current test
equipment (ECIS) in Beavercreek, OH. US Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities and Expectations: Expectations include electrical
and mechanical assembly of ECIS components. Responsibilities will
include:
- Assist established project teams with implementation of
technical objectives
- Build electrical cables for use in higher level assemblies
- Testing cables for conductivity and insulation resistance
- Operating machine to perform various functions and testing
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) of ECIS manipulators
- Alignment and basic troubleshooting of ECIS
manipulatorsRequired Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required
- Engineering certification, Associates Degree is preferred
- Ability to read and work from electrical/mechanical drawings
and wire charts
- Ability to think critically to draw conclusions from data and
suggest additional areas for investigation
- Self-motivated, with strong communication skills and the
ability to work both independently, and in a multidisciplinary team
environmentDesired Qualifications:
- IPC J-STD-001, IPC-610-A, IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications
- Relative military training will be considered
- Three years experience in related field in lieu of Associate
