PURPOSE:

Responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing material meets the quality inspection standards and maintaining accurate records for all shipments.-- Primary duties include receiving, pulling and issuing, packing, and arranging transportation of products to fulfill customer requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Must be proficient with fork lift and experienced unloading and loading trucks
  • Receive all incoming shipments while ensuring quality and accuracy standards are met
  • Label all incoming material with the associated part number and project number
  • Deliver received goods to proper area of plant
  • Pack outgoing shipments in accordance with size and weight specifications
  • Set up small shipments through UPS shipping program, including international shipments
  • Work with third party shipping partners to set up trucks and get shipments to their destination in a timely manner
  • Assist in picking inventory for project staging according to bill of material specifications
  • Coordinate with Project Managers on the details of the shipments and expedite shortages
  • Maintain inventory integrity for all products being received, shipped and picked
  • Maintain and control all material transaction related records
  • Assist in shipping and spare part sales orders and work order pulls for assembly as needed
  • Document and return all unused material from project builds to proper storage location
  • Ability to utilize ERP system's (SAP) tools to assist employees as needed, parts and prints
  • Understand Lincoln Electric's Quality and EHS policies and how it relates to this job
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.


    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Familiar with personal computer and business system functions
    • Ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization

    • Proficiency in MS Office preferred
    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
    • Capable of working in a standing/walking/driving forklift up to 10 hours a day.

      • Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company's Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.
      • Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures.
      • Know that the company EHS procedures are located on the ISO drive.
      • Immediately notify the Supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS procedures.
      • Attend required EHS training
