Job Description:
Position Summary:
Are you a software professional who enjoys problem solving? We are
a top-notch team - come join us as a Senior Programmer Analyst! The
UDit team comprises over 90 staff members dedicated to providing
systems and services for teaching, learning, research and
administration. UDit collaborates with faculty, staff and students
on innovative IT services to meet the diverse needs of our UD
community. This is a full time benefit eligible position that

This position is responsible for programming support and business
analysis of the Ellucian Banner ERP system and third party
ancillary systems. Responsibilities will include requirements
gathering, software design, development, maintenance, testing,
validation, implementation, documentation, and product support. The
successful candidate may occasionally be required to work on call
hours (after regular work hours, weekends, holidays).
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Four years of experience working with an enterprise IT system
(specifically, business applications such as SIS, Finance, and
HR/Payroll), including software development, troubleshooting,
project development, documentation, etc.
Understanding of a complex relational database and business
applications in a production environment.
Experience with major project development for an ERP: analysis,
requirements gathering, design, development, unit and end to end
testing, and validation.
Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle,
including comprehensive unit testing/validation, and
deployment.
Experience with troubleshooting and the ability to drive a
task/project to successful completion.
Effective written and oral communication skills with all levels of
the organization.
Due to the nature of this position, the applicant must be either a
U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications,
the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, MIS, other
technical discipline, or business discipline.
Experience with the Ellucian Banner ERP system.
Experience using version control, Jira, TDX, Excel, Pro*C, Java,
Unix, and other IT tools.
Experience writing user documentation.
Experience working with socially and culturally diverse
communities.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends
