Job Description Express Employment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Wiring Technician in Brookfield, Ohio. Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift 7 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday Job Duties:Reference shop prints to determine where each piece of equipment is to be installed and meet the requirements on National Electrical CodeInstalls wire ways, conduits and cable trays, and ground electrical equipment to adhere to customer specification and/or NEC codeProperly install gear, SWGR, VFDs, ATS, DCS systems, transformers, DC chargers, PLC cabinets, etc. per engineered drawingsBend conduit, and work with both EMT and RMCPerform electrical wiring, anchoring, tie-wrapping, routing, flagging, wire tagging, crimping & wire/cable strippingAssemble and install electrical components such as sub-panels, according to engineered drawingsConnects electrical wiring between components according to the wiring prints, schematics, and single-line drawings using electrician's hand tools such as screwdrivers, strippers, crimpers, etc.Crimps appropriate size and type of lugs to wire ends by using a hand crimping deviceInstalls electrical wiring, lugs, and assembles/installs components such as switches, lights, air conditioners, bundle holders, clips and other apparatus in a frame, panel, or other structural support according to design specificationsLays out, routes, and ties wire to panels by using wiring bundles, bundle holders, duct, and wire way and other protectors with hand toolsMeasures and cuts wire to accurate length by routing tape measure over wiring path and adding additional length for future connectionsPositions, aligns, and adjusts wires and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly of the product.Attach wire and device labels as shown on printsLevels and plumbs components and conduit by using tape measures and torpedo levels to ensure functionality and appearanceDrills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot-faces bolt holes in parts, using drill presses and portable power drillsNotify the lead person or Inspector when product is ready for inspectionMaintains a clean and safe work area each day and returns tools to their proper locationsMinimum Qualifications:Two plus years of experience in hydraulic conduit knockout, conduit threader, manual and power conduit benders, strippers, crimpers, drills, screwdrivers, and other hand tools requiredTwo plus years of experience in wiring electrical panels requiredTwo plus years of experience in applicable QAPs (Quality Assurance Procedures) requiredAbility to read schematics and wire schedules requiredHigh levels of organizational and time management skills requiredHigh levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills requiredHigh levels of reliability requiredExcellent communication skills both written and verbal requiredUS work authorization without sponsorship requiredAbility to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check requiredAbility to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more requiredAbility to stoop and bend four-plus hours at a time requiredAbility to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time requiredAbility to read a tape measure and electrical point-to-point prints requiredExcellent manual dexterity requiredExcellent color vision and eyesight required Preferred Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredForklift certification preferredBenefits:Medical, HSA, term life, AD&D, STD, LTD,401K, profit sharing, and ESOP contributionsEducation, gym, dental, and vision reimbursementPTO and paid holidays providedCareer advancement opportunitiesCompetitive wages For more information or to apply, call Express at 330-349-5007 or email us at jobs.warrenoh@expresspros.com. #war3244PandoLogic.
