About The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Product Development
Manager will oversee the Product Development Leads and ensure
completion of Integra Beauty's Product Development activities
throughout all brands.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the product development team with the clarity, energy, and
delivery necessary to ensure new product pipelines are full of
product launches for all of our brands.
Oversees portfolio as it pertains to scope, schedule, cost,
quality, human resources, communication, risk, supply chain, and
stakeholders, as well as the integration of said knowledge areas
throughout the business.
Formalize a standard Product Development Process and enforce the
process through gate progress reviews for product progress steps
including: ideation, customer and marketing research, brand
alignment and marketing strategy, defining product requirements,
prototyping, product testing, vendor selection, sourcing,
compliance, and product education, etc.
Manages escalations and appropriates resources accordingly.
Recruits, trains, and manages product development team by planning,
monitoring, and appraising job results. Generates positive team
culture.
Coordinates launch schedule to meet Sales, Inventory, and
Operations Planning targets.
Analyzes proposed product concepts against requirements and
expected return-on-investment analyses with schedules confirmed by
engineering and manufacturing.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and
content, and participating in professional societies.
Scrutinize proposed products for design, quality, performance,
conformance to brand and Product Development Process. Ensure that
the product and packaging will exceed customer expectations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Must be willing to test products developed
Travel as required

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, industrial engineering,
or a field tied to the product's sector (materials, operations,
finance, engineering), master's in engineering or MBA a plus.
Minimum 8 years relevant work experience, including project
management and team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Product Manager
(CPM), or New Product Development (NPD) Professional
Certifications.
Previous Hair styling/ Cosmetology experience
Product innovation and development track record
