Job Description:
The Production Planner owns the short-term production schedule
in relation to the long-term demand needs of the business.
Production Planning focuses on managing production to optimize the
use of resources and meet production schedules and standards
including staffing needs, material requirements, and equipment
availability for the production process. Researching, evaluating,
and recommending changes to production processes, systems,
technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production
capabilities.Key Responsibilities* Analyze the long-term production
plan of the company and adapt to the production capacity of the
factory.* Calculate the need for raw materials and inform the
related departments in time to meet the delivery deadlines and the
fullness of the production warehouse.* Conduct regular analyses of
all material demand changes and forecast runoff of unclaimed raw
materials, packaging at the end of activities.* Identify processes
to find opportunities and make recommendations to optimize
inventory levels, increase supply chain flexibility, preventive
measures to reduce scrap/understock.* Collaborating with
cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of the
weekly production, while maximizing safety and quality and
minimizing NQC* Drive continuous improvement in schedule processes
that enable delivery of ATS and ATP.Knowledge / Experience* Strong
Computer skills preferred (excel, MS Outlook, Word etc.)* Excellent
Communications Skills* Food Manufacturing experience preferred
(knowledge of good manufacturing practices, HACCP, ISO standards)*
Ability to deliver critical performance feedback and hold
associates accountable to business objectives.* An undergraduate
(Bachelor's) degree OR 4 years of experience in a technical
manufacturing continuous improvement environment, along with a High
