Job Description:

The Credit and Collections Analyst will play a crucial role in the revenue cycle team, responsible for monitoring payments, ensuring timely collections, and serving as the primary accounts receivable liaison. The candidate will utilize their strong communication and organizational skills to facilitate effective payment processes and maintain positive relationships with clients.Key Responsibilities:Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.Review and reconcile billing records to identify discrepancies.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to billing and collections.Collaborate with internal teams, including billing and coding specialists, to address billing issues and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and client interactions.Analyze payment trends and develop strategies to improve collections and reduce outstanding balances.Generate reports and provide analysis on accounts receivable, aging reports, and collection performance.Qualifications:Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and financial documentation.Familiarity with medical billing and coding practices is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Working Conditions: The Credit and Collections Analyst will work in an office environment and may be required to sit for extended periods. Occasional overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines or address urgent matters.Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
