This represents potential Tool Room Machinist openings in various manufacturing departments at our Anna Engine Plant and Honda Engineering North America facility in Anna, Ohio.

About this Position:

Perform machine shop; tooling preset and tool regrind activities



Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Manual Mill
  
• Manual Lathe
  
• Grinding
  
• Welding
  
• Miscellaneous handwork
  
• Manual and CNC regrinding
  
• Presetting of holders and cutters
  
• Small tear down and assembly jobs
  
  
  
  
  Daily Tasks:
  
  Perform tasks as assigned by the team leader. Normal daily activities include machine shop activities, tool regrind, and tool presetting.
  
  
  
  Who we are seeking:
  
  Required Work Experience:
  
  Minimum two years of machine shop or cutting tool regrind experience preferred.
  
  Required Education:
  
  High School Degree or Equivalent
  
  
  Desired skills:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Read and understand blueprints.
    
  • Machine shop or cutting tool preset and regrind experience.
    
  • Ability to use micrometers calipers, etc.
    
  • Troubleshoot and countermeasure manufacturing related issues of low to moderate complexity
    
  • Organization skills
    
  • Effective time management.
    
  • Flexible team player.
    
  • Self-motivation
    
  • Possible travel with training and new machine installations.
    
  • 0-12 hours overtime per week.
    
  • Occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.
    
  • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.
    
  • 1-week domestic travel potential per year for training.
