General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems has an immediate need in our Maintenance Group. Join our team in Springboro, Ohioas a Maintenance Technician for our Hydra-70 supply systemThe Maintenance Technician will be scheduled a weekend 12 hr work schedule ( 5:00am-5:30pm Friday, Sat, Sun). They will have the ability to work autonomously to maintain, service and repair machinery and equipment throughout the facility. Technician should have working knowledge of how to use basic mechanical and electrical tools and understand troubleshooting procedures. Preventativemaintenance experience is a MUST.Responsibilities would include but notlimited to:General mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs on all productionequipment as well as facility equipmentPerform reactive maintenance and preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities equipmentBasic knowledge and understanding of PLCsWorking knowledge and experience in Lockout Tagout, confined space, use of fall protection, and lift a loftsAbility to obtain fork lift license and certificationMust be able to read and understand technical/ repair manuals and drawingsTroubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, presses and draw benchesTroubleshoot and repair pneumatics and hydraulicsElectrical construction, running conduit and pulling wireMust be able to handle hazardous chemicalsPerform minor HVAC and plumbing repairsRepair and troubleshoot automation on the production linesMust have an understanding of 5s and Kaizencontinuous improvementMust have some electrical skills, Pneumatic and Hydraulic skills, Mechanical and troubleshooting.Trade School or Journeyman certification a plus.Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
